Software Engineer and Doctors Housing Co-operative Society Limited, Bangalore (SEAD) was Registered in year 2008-09 with Reg no. SJRB/RGN/18/36956/08-09 and established under Karnataka Co-oper -ative Act 1959(8) for the Software engineers, Engineers, Doctors, Scientist, Staff of Information Technology, BPO, ITES etc.
This society is formed by like minded Engineers & Doctors to cater to the housing need of theirs peers at very reasonable cost.
The primary objective of SEAD is to make such schemes and to carry out such works as are necessary for the purpose of dealing with and satisfying the need of housing infrastructure/accommodation. SEAD endeavors to provide housing to the people of Karnataka at affordable cost and therefore recognized as the most important bureau for housing/infrastructure throughout the locations applicable to the society norms.
SEAD is headed by President, Vice President,Secreatary,Treasurer and 11 members Board. SEAD undertakes layout formation, housing schemes and land development schemes as envisaged in the Act and subject to the control of the Board and the Dept. Co-operative, Government of Karnataka.

- Small Layouts to Satellite Towns
- Multiple Housing
- Row houses to Villas
- Apartments
SEAD endeavors to meet the housing requirement to all class of people viz., Low Income Group, Middle Income Group and High Income Group categories.
SEAD Layouts/townships are provided with basic infrastructure such as asphalted roads, drinking water, electricity, under ground drainage, parks, civic cum commercial complexes etc.

SEAD does not directly provide any Financial Assistance; applicants can avail financial assistance from leading financial institutions.
